Rough Friday

Wanted to see how rough and quick I could go and still have things make sense. Good thing I did the top two last night because I accidentally slept through the time I usually like to draw this morning. These images are from a story I've been writing off and on. It's not the graphic novel, but I mistakenly drew the girl nearly identical to one of the GN characters. Guess that's bound to happen when you are drawing the same design all the time. (Click the images for slightly bigger versions if you like. The wide one I particularly can't make very big in order to fit it on the blog.)

I find the last one very compelling. It makes me really want to know what is happening with these characters.

I like them.
ne thing I would say though, is , At this point, I've seen enough of your work to know you;'re a fantastic artist.
I'd love to see you push your storytelling a little more though.
Like, having people interact a bit more?
Maybe the ghost holding the guy in it's arms, or some action reaction?

Don't get me wrong, i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVe your stuff.
You're one of my favorite artists.
I'm just curious to see your "storytelling" work a bit more.

Hey thanks everyone! And thanks for the story challenge Pascal! I guess I don't have too many images with characters interacting on the blog...

After I'm done my current project, I'll be getting back to work on the graphic novel and I'll be sure to share some of it here.

And after the Dindle story is done too, I'm planning more little stories just for the blog :)

Woah, you are too much. This stuff has been really great. I think my favorite is the top one. It's really solid. The other two are great also.

Although the ghost girl caught my eye first, I think the second image is my favorite. And, as a side note, one of my favorite pieces (overall) of yours. It contains so much drama in such a loose sketch. And the color helps the overall ambiguity, and uncertainty of the scene. Top notch!
